Our Team, Our Family
As a family owned and operated business, we want you to feel at home when you walk into Worthington Jewelers. On any given day you’ll find Bob, Theresa or another family member on the floor, ready to help you. You’ll also be greeted by more than 20 non-commissioned jewelry consultants, designers, managers, gemologists and goldsmiths. (Also known as our extended family!)
With a non-commissioned approach, Worthington is happy to offer you quality products and service, without any pressure. Exceptional service has been our hallmark since we opened our doors in 2000, and we couldn’t do it without our team. If you haven’t yet had a chance to meet Bob, Theresa, and the rest of the team, be sure to stop by our store in downtown Worthington to say hello!
Meet Bob & Theresa
Romance is a professional and personal passion for Bob and Theresa Capace, owners of Worthington Jewelers. With five children and three grandchildren, the couple knows how important it is to celebrate one another and the bonds of family. Their son, daughter and niece assist in the store.
“I love the symbolism of engagement and wedding rings,” Theresa says. “It’s always a thrill to help couples find the perfect expression of their relationship.”
Bob and Theresa believe that finding the right rings takes time, so they’ve created a relaxing place for you to shop and learn about diamonds and jewelry. “From the moment you step into our store, you’ll be treated as an honored guest,” Bob says. “We never want anyone to feel pressured. Our goal is to teach you enough about diamonds and jewelry so you feel comfortable with your decision.”
As entrepreneurs who’ve raised five children, the couple has lots of budgeting experience. Currently, two of their kids are enrolled in college, and another in law school. “Our focus is on delivering more bang for your buck,” Theresa says.
Community involvement is another priority for the Capaces. Involved in the Worthington Chamber of Commerce and Olde Worthington Business Association, they support Worthington Schools, The McConnell Arts Center, Worthington A.M. Rotary, Leukemia Lymphoma Society and numerous other organizations. Bob also enjoys membership in the Columbus Italian Club and GETDOT Networking.
Bob says positive customer reviews are how he knows he’s meeting his goal of offering the area’s best customer service and jewelry values. “I invite you to check out what our customers are saying on The Knot, Wedding Wire, Google, Yelp! and other review sites,” he says. “I want to be your go-to guy for jewelry for the rest of your lives together.”
When not helping customers pick out jewelry or starring in the store’s TV and radio spots, Bob is busy as District Sales Manager for a major human resources consulting company. His dream is to work full-time at the store with Theresa and their children.
Ultimately, the Capaces strive to be a local resource. “Even if you just need a complimentary jewelry cleaning, we’re happy to be of service,” Theresa says. “Stop in and see us!”
